The Economics Review is an online publication of rigorous student essays, research papers, and opinions that aims to promote critical thinking and high-level research in economic theory and policy. Our dedicated editorial team, led entirely by students at NYU, strives to produce material that is compelling, relevant, and exciting to follow for everyone interested in economics, both at Washington Square, and beyond.
To motivate hundreds of students each year to think about economics in their daily lives, and to inspire research, debate, and economic thinking amongst students across the country.
The Submission Process
The Economics Review accepts articles with economics-related content (recommended length approx. 1,000 words) to be published on its online website on a rolling basis.
The Review is also now accepting longer economic research papers (up to approx. 8,000 words) for its first major publication in Fall 2015.
In order to submit your written work, e-mail your article/academic paper as a Word doc to firstname.lastname@example.org. If you are submitting an article, make sure to include the title and a sentence setting up your article (teaser statement). If you are submitting a paper, make sure to include the title and a one paragraph long abstract.
